چکیده
Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) is a powerful technique that can provide chemical identity, quantification, and spatiotemporal information on biosurfaces. The ability of SECM for noninvasive high-resolution imaging has made it valuable the study cell phenotypes functions. This review focuses latest advances biosurface imaging. measurements different biomarkers, including oxygen consumption rate enzyme activity aggregates, redox state cardiomyocytes, bacterial metabolic activity, are introduced. applicability membrane permeability measurements, neurotransmitter intracellular discussed.

Imaging Glucose Oxidase by Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy
Scanning Electrochemical Microscopy is a tool for imaging and investigate surfaces by meaning of chemical reactivity, electric conductivity, and enzymatic activity. This technique is typical electrochemical cell plus three axis positioner. Positioner allows to measure typical electrochemical measurements, like Cyclic Voltammetry, Chronoamperometry, Impedance Spectroscopy, etc. in the vicinity o...
متن کاملScanning impedance microscopy (SIM): A novel approach for AC transport imaging
Scanning Impedance Microscopy (SIM) is one of the novel scanning probe microscopy (SPM) techniques, which has been developed to taking image from sample surface, providing quantitative information with high lateral resolution on the interface capacitance, and investigating the local capacitance–voltage (C–V) behavior of the interface and AC transport properties. The SIM is an ordinary AFM equip...
متن کاملScanning Electrochemical Microscopy Imaging during Respiratory Burst in Human Cell
Phagocytic cells, such as neutrophils and monocytes, consume oxygen and generate reactive oxygen species (ROS) in response to external stimuli. Among the various ROS, the superoxide anion radical is known to be primarily produced by nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate hydrogen (NADPH) oxidase. In the current study, we attempt to evaluate the respiratory burst by monitoring the rapid con...
متن کاملChemically imaging living cells by scanning electrochemical microscopy.
Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) is useful in probing and characterizing interfaces at high resolution. In this paper, the general principles of this technique are described and several applications of SECM to biological systems, particularly to living cells, is discussed, along with several example systems. Thiodione was detected and monitored electrochemically during the treatment o...
